Ii sakura...

Its cherry blossom season here in Japan and I'm happy to report that I've spent the past three days outside enjoying the sakura with friends. Here's a photograph from this afternoon - this is Ms. Shimauchi (wearing kimono) and Ms. Kadota, friends from Misake Town. Ms. Kadota studies tea ceremony in Oita and prepared matcha (green tea) and tea ceremony treats for us.
